A Norinco Mod 64, engraved, in a jewelry box Cal. 7.65 mm Browning, No. 12100, serial numbers do not match. Barrel is unpolished. On the left side of the slide is the Norinco logo, along with the model number and quality control mark. Note: The magazine and firearm functioned only partially with dummy rounds; the rounds did not fit correctly. Safety lever on the left with a slide-lock function, signal pin. Magazine release button in front of the left grip panel. The frame and slide are gold-plated; the slide features silver filigree work in the form of swans and stylized floral motifs, set with turquoises and almandines, as well as two painted porcelain cartouches with Chinese polychrome decoration. The black, one-piece grip panel also features silver filigree decoration. The pistol comes with a spare magazine in an oval case, lined with red velvet on the inside, with a mirror on the inside of the lid. One magnifying glass is missing. The case is openwork on the reverse side, crafted in silver filigree. Also richly set with turquoises and almandines. Lid slightly dented and somewhat warped. Locking mechanism does not function. Underside hallmarked “SILVER 925.” Total weight without lining, but including mirror and stones, 927 grams. Dimensions of the box: 24 x 15 x 6 cm.
