Receiver with complete dark gray phosphate finish, marked on the left with “US MODEL OF 1928 A1” as well as “THOMPSON SUBMACHINE GUN Caliber .45 M1” and serial number. “THOMPSON” also appears on the bolt carrier. On the right, manufacturer “Auto Ordnance Corporation” with place and country of manufacture; pistol grip and stock made of walnut with minimal signs of wear. 10-round magazine.
