Stamp collection: Colonies and the German Empire A well-stocked album containing stamps from the German Empire, the inflation period, Bavaria, Heligoland, Baden, the occupation zones, the Saarland, etc., plus fourteen insert pages of colonial stamps, including German South-West Africa, Kiautschou, German East Africa, Morocco, German Post in Turkey, as well as from corporate correspondence of the German Post in China: approx. 100 stamps at 2 cents/5 pfennigs, approx. 100 items at 4 cents/10 pfennigs, approx. 100 items at 10 cents/20 pfennigs, approx. 80 items at 20 cents/40 pfennigs and approx. 70 items at 40 cents/80 pfennigs, including numerous pairs, including some of the 40-cent stamps, with postmarks from Hankan, Canton, Tschifu, Shanghai, Peking, etc.; two letters from German Palestine; several letters from Deutsche Post Morocco on interesting envelopes; a complete sheet of ‘Inflation’ stamps; approx. 400 perforated stamps (company perforations) from Bavaria and the German Empire; four items from Old Germany; approx. 15 postcards with blocks of four from the Bauten series (GDR), etc., cancelled, unused and mint.
