Portfolio of costume designs for GDR film productions circa 1970/80, monogrammed once and dated Sch.67, large portfolio containing approx. 50 loose, hand-labelled sheets with colour drawings of costumes for various GDR television film productions, some with attached fabric samples and details of the actors, including designs for the artistic drama ‘Pinselheinrich’ (television film, 1979) based on the life of the illustrator Heinrich Zille, ‘Die Rundköpfe und die Spitzköpfe’ (1985), based on Bertolt Brecht’s stage play; the drama ‘Regine oder die Falle’ (1980), based on Gerhart Hauptmann’s novel ‘Vor Sonnenaufgang’; ‘Der Menschenhasser’ (1979), based on Molière’s ‘The Misanthrope’, “Jelena” (1969), based on Ivan Turgenev’s novel “Fathers and Sons”, etc., mounted or lined behind a passe-partout; pages slightly stained, occasionally trimmed and a few with minimal damage, sheet sizes 20 x 14 cm to 32 x 47 cm.
