A field-gray visor cap for officers of the Prussian army with camouflage ribbon Field-gray fabric (with occasional superficial moth-eaten spots) featuring a ponceau-red peak and ponceau-red band, lacquered metal cockades, and a lacquered visor. With a beige silk lining (stained, torn), stamped “C.W. Borchert Berlin, Court Supplier Berlin” and “F.W.”, as well as a manufacturer’s stamp. Ochre-colored leather sweatband (stained, with occasional tears) bearing the Borchert embossed stamp. Feldgrau camouflage ribbon wrapped around the collar (stained, buckled at the back). Warped, partially slightly damaged, with signs of wear and age. Condition: II–III
