A steel helmet M 17 The helmet shell has a flanged rim and a field-gray finish (old repaint, traces of rust, wear especially at the crown), with one coat of arms repainted on each side. Inside on the side is the stamp “Glocke/‘L 64’”; on the side are two buttons marked 91 (one later replaced with a screw fastener; a remnant of a strap attached to it). Good three-piece gray leather lining (without linen padding) on an iron inner ring (one lining rivet is missing). On the nape, a plaque with the foundry stamp “IL 3 : 1087.” Partially incomplete, slightly damaged, with signs of wear and age. Condition: II - III
