Collection of ten archival images from the years 1891–1917 Including images of the “Imperial Postal Service, Berlin,” “Samland Pioneer Battalion, Königsberg No. 18,” the “Hessian Hussar Regiment No. 14,” the “2nd Company, Grand Duchy of Hesse Train Battalion No. 18, Darmstadt,” the “Encke Foot Artillery Regiment, Magdeburg No. 4,” the “2nd Company, Brandenburg Foot Artillery No. 3,” “6th Company, K. B. 2nd Foot Artillery Regiment, Germersheim,” “2nd Company, Brandenburg Transport Battalion No. 3, Spandau,” “5th Battery, 2nd Guard Field Artillery Regiment, Berlin,” and another of an unnamed artilleryman. All pictures feature various patriotic motifs, some with depictions of monarchs and mottos. One picture is without glass; one has a crack in the glass. Somewhat faded and torn in places; signs of age. A few pictures were reframed in the past. Frames are partially damaged with missing sections. Dimensions approx. 70 x 60 cm. Condition: II -
