A gold badge of honor from Friedrich Krupp AG for outstanding service Exquisitely detailed design: oak leaves in 750 yellow gold, a cannon barrel in white gold, and a pin in 585 yellow gold. Wine-red leather case, lined with silk and velvet. The white silk lining of the lid bears the golden manufacturer’s imprint “E. Goldschmidt Hof.Juwelier Cöln.” Shows signs of wear and age. Length 9 cm. Weight 5 g. In fine condition. This brooch was a gift from Krupp AG, founded in 1811, to distinguished officers. Provenance: Directly from the family collection. Condition: II
