A pair of holster covers and a horse blanket for members of the 5th or 6th Cuirassier Regiment Saddlecloth made of reddish cloth, edged with yellow trim streaked with red; the reverse side features natural-colored fabric in a herringbone pattern. Also included is a pair of matching saddlecloths made of reddish-yellow cloth on a brownish cotton backing (tanned), each with three intact leather attachment tabs. Isolated superficial signs of moth damage, some staining, and signs of wear and age. Published in Herr/Nguyen, *Die deutsche Kavallerie*, p. 286. Rare. Condition: II
