A helmet for troopers of the line cuirassiers—a replica Collector's item or centennial edition. Nickel-plated steel shell (with minor dents) with brass fittings. On the front, the riveted line eagle; arched, leather-lined scale chains on button 91, as well as imperial and provincial cockades made of repainted sheet iron. Rotatable, smooth iron tip on a brass base with four new screw fasteners. Brown leather flap lining (minor missing areas); the inner neck flap has a heavily worn, discolored velvet lining; the lower front flap has a new green cloth patch. Partially damaged, restored; shows signs of wear and age. Condition: II -
