Percussion rifle with hammer circa 1855, probably Jung & Söhne, Suhl; heavy octagonal barrel with rifling and lands; folding rear sight and front sight; company plate inlaid at the top; calibre approx. 16 mm, hammer, lock plate, lock counterplate, trigger guard and butt plate made of engraved iron, trigger with set-off, checkered hardwood stock with cheek piece, butt plate and leg end, modern replacement wooden ramrod, action in working order, all iron parts showing patina, engravings heavily worn and weathered, overall length 112 cm.
