Necklaces of the Order of St Stephen 19th century, complete chain of the Royal Hungarian Order of St Stephen (50 links); the links alternately feature a crown, an ‘M’ and ‘SS’; the medallion depicts a dove with the inscription ‘Stringit Amore’ (it unites with love) within a wreath of flowers; silver (hallmarked 800) with a gold finish; one connecting link to the medallion is missing; otherwise in good condition; length 130 cm; weight approx. 488 g.
