Allach “Münchner Kindl” Commissioned piece for the “Munich Floral Arrangement Competition 1940”, designed by Karl Himmelstoss, embossed runic mark with lettering and octagon 1936-1945, engraved designer’s signature and indistinctly painted artist’s signature, naturalistic modelling with fine polychrome overglaze painting, standing on a three-lobed, curved plinth featuring the city coat of arms in relief and the title, a girl in a draped robe, joyfully raising her arms and holding a bouquet of flowers, bearing the runes of the Schutzstaffel on her chest; a rare figure; right hand expertly restored; otherwise in good condition for its age; H 21 cm.
