Reserve soldier’s tankard, Wiesbaden Fusiliers’ Regiment inscribed “At the 7th Company, Fusiliers’ Regiment of Gersdorff, Hesse. No. 80. Wiesbaden 1898-1900”, inscribed with the name of Reservist Private Schmidt; on the front, an epaulette within a wreath of oak leaves beneath a crown; at the bottom, military trophies; on the left and right: manoeuvre scenes; on the back: two name strips; lithophane on the base depicting a farewell scene; tall pewter lid with ornamental decorations; featuring a seated reservist as the finial; handle in the shape of an eagle; good condition; height max. 28 cm.
