A Prussian Model 67 2nd Guard Uhlan Officer's Czapka Body and front peak made of black-lacquered leather; front peak with gold-plated trim. Gold-plated officer’s emblem featuring the Uhlan eagle and an enameled star of the Order of the Black Eagle, secured with two screw bolts and nuts. Gold-plated, domed scale chain attached. Prussian field insignia made of silver filigree with black velvet filling. Red parade band with silver cord, black drawstrings, and gold braid. Long officer’s cords with black drawstrings and open tassels; parade plume made of black-and-white buffalo hair. Black leather lining. Uncleaned, with patina/soot.
