A Prussian Late Model 1st Guard Dragoon Officer's Helmet Body made of black, lacquered leather; front visor with a green lining, rear visor with a red lining. Gold-plated cross-blade with stars, a tip, and a square front visor border. Gilded officer’s emblem featuring the Prussian eagle and an enameled star of the Order of the Black Eagle, secured with two screw bolts and nuts. Gilded, domed scale chains attached to rosettes. Officer’s cockades (national and Prussian). Sweatband made of light brown leather with stains, cream-colored silk lining, rear visor unsewn. Uncleaned, with patina/soot.
