A black parade cuirass for officers in the Prussian Garde du Corps Regiment, Russian model Black-lacquered steel body with red cord trim; a tarnished emblem (breastplate) attached to the front with two screws and nuts, featuring a red enamel center and a gold “FR” monogram; black leather straps with gilded scale-shaped fittings and oak leaf buckles, attached to two plates featuring a lion’s head motif; black leather belly strap; cream-colored, quilted fabric lining with a black-and-white border; Paintwork has been touched up and shows scratches; the lining is torn. Uncleaned; shows signs of age and wear, as well as slight discoloration and soot marks. This lot is located in the U.S. Condition: II
