A hunting hanger for rifle guards, made by Eickhorn of Solingen Privately acquired hunting knife with a sturdy wedge-shaped blade; unfortunately, the blade shows signs of rust, the etchings have been filled in, and it bears an early Eickhorn hallmark. Brass crossguard tapering to a hoof shape, brass cap with acorn-shaped screw fitting, scalloped guard plate with an applied guard star (visibly chipped). Deer-antler handle with three lens-shaped brass rivets on the front. Black leather sheath with brass fittings (loose). Length approx. 55 cm. Condition: II–III
