An M 1895/97 shako for enlisted men in the 9th Jäger Battalion Chamber piece. Body made of black-lacquered leather, sewn-on brims (cracked, heat marks). On the front, a gilded line eagle secured with leather wedges. Leather chin strap with an M 91 button, color-lacquered iron Reich cockade, black-and-white regimental insignia inserted at the top. Brown leather flap lining; the lid is stamped, among other things, “J.B.9, 54.” Clear signs of wear and age. Condition: II
