Walrus tusk collector's item and gaucho knife Plastic replica of a walrus tusk with scrimshaw (length approx. 57 cm), depicting the opposing captains “John Paul Jones” and “Richard Pearson,” each with their ship, who fought the Battle of Flamborough Head in 1779—a battle that became one of the most famous naval engagements of the American Revolutionary War. Included is a gaucho knife (length approx. 35 cm), with a polished, unmarked blade, a carved bone handle with an attached red/green tassel, and a decorated nickel silver sheath.
