A saber for officers of the mounted grenadiers, a replica in the 18th-century style Wide, slightly curved back blade (stained), a shallow hollow edge on both sides, double-edged point, decorative etchings on both sides in the upper section featuring a sword arm, sun, crescent moon, stars, etc. Brass pommel with additional S-shaped terz clasps, black leather-wrapped tang, lion’s head pommel cap. Wide scabbard with a wooden core, black leather covering (with pressure marks), and brown-black patinated brass fittings; two movable carrying rings. Signs of wear and age. Length 100 cm. Cf.
