A Naval Cutlass M 1833 Sturdy, slightly curved back blade (stained, pitted near the hilt) with a hollow edge on both sides; on the quarter side, an etched anchor symbol (partially filled in); on the back, an etching of the Chatellerault 1846 manufacturer’s mark (partially filled in). Blackened iron basket hilt (traces of rust), iron octagonal grip. Leather scabbard (cracked, worn, with small superficial chips and tears) with brass fittings. Partially slightly damaged; shows signs of use and age. Length 84 cm. Condition: II
