A French-style saber for officers of the light cavalry Strongly curved blade with a T-shaped profile (darkened, unmarked, with minor dents) and a double-edged point with triple grooves on both sides. Richly embossed brass scabbard with an S-shaped crossguard (ends shaped like eagle heads), a lion’s head pommel, a checkered wooden grip (worn), and a chain. Iron scabbard (dents, minor scratches) with brass ring bands and two movable carrying rings. Partially slightly damaged, with signs of wear and age. Length 100 cm. Interesting blade geometry. Condition: II
