Order of Our Lady of Vila Viçosa, a Grand Cross in a case The set is of outstanding early craftsmanship. Multi-rayed, convex breast star made of gold-plated silver with multiple riveted, gold, enameled order insignia and a hollow, openwork crown on the upper side set with colored stones; reverse side features a wide mounting clasp. Width approx. 71 mm. The sash cross is in a solid design, but the crown is movable and features a fastening ring. Width approx. 80 mm. A loose, light blue marbled silk sash with white edging is included. The stitching has come undone. In a damaged, gold-embossed red presentation case. Condition: I–II
