Mounted on an original ribbon of purple silk moiré with a yellow center stripe. Octagonal breast star made of gold-plated silver, featuring a superimposed, white-enameled cross and a Balboa medallion; pin mounting on the reverse. Diameter 80 mm, weight approx. 85 g.
