An Ottoman miquelet lock for a tüfek, dated 1804 Hammer mounted with decorative silver rivets; lower hammer lip inlaid with silver and dated 1219 (=1804). Lock cover fitted with engraved silver sheet, marked beneath the pan. Lightly cut trigger, engraved on the underside, partially silver-plated. Lock plate lightly decorated with silver inlay. Iron surfaces slightly pitted. Length 10 cm. Condition: II -
