A large Victorian hand-and-a-half sword in the German style of 1460, ca. 1900 Sturdy double-edged blade with a lenticular cross-section. Narrow fuller on both sides in the upper half. A double-stamped mark on one side and a “Passauer Wolf” inlaid in copper. Straight iron crossguard with flattened ends. Octagonal tang with brown leather wrapping. Heavy, octagonal pear-shaped pommel with a stepped riveted pommel cap. Length 134.5 cm. Condition: II
