A German campaign sword, mid-17th century Straight back blade with a double-edged point and a groove on both sides. Blade is pitted and chipped. Iron hilt; the brass guard on the third side features embossed decoration (with a missing section). The thumb ring on the quart side is missing. Twisted, carved tang with remnants of the original Turkish bands. Pear-shaped pommel with a stepped riveted pommel cap. Length 107 cm. Condition: II–III
