A German one-and-a-half-hand sword, circa 1500 Wide cutting edge, with three grooves on each side; above each groove are two crescent-shaped marks. Slightly curved crossguard. Long hilt covered in leather over cord wrapping and a simple pear-shaped pommel. Surfaces show corrosion; the hilt has small areas of damage. Length 123 cm. Condition: II - III
