A German armored collar, ca. 1580 Collar that opens with a hinge; not functional, as the left side has been modernly closed with a rivet. Front and back plates feature a raised edge and all-around lining rivets. The back plate is slightly torn at the edge. Two movable neck rings with a sturdy, inward-folded, and laced flange.
