A South German Maximilian collar, ca. 1520/30 Collar that opens with a hinge and features a double side latch. The front and back panels have a central six-groove pattern, flanked on either side by a three-groove pattern. Two neckbands with continuous grooving; the upper neckband is complemented by a heavily beaded edge. Leather lining replaced. Width: 29 cm. Condition: II
