London, long rectangular body in mahogany veneer; the hinged lid features an inlaid Mediterranean veduta within a cartouche; the inside of the lid bears handwritten operating instructions; glazed musical mechanism marked ‘Cole Frères Genève’ and numbered S45145, tuning comb intact, with a switchable chime, which requires repair; the mechanism runs; minor losses of veneer, dimensions 30 x 85 x 35 cm.
