An Afghan pulwar with an engraved hilt, circa 1800 Long blade with three grooves on each side. Four circular marks stamped into the middle groove on one side. Finely engraved and chased iron pommel with two stylized lion heads on the sides. The pommel features an openwork rosette backed with copper. Leather-covered wooden scabbard with a sturdy iron guard. The leather has several tears. Length 101 cm Condition: II -
