An Ottoman nickel-silver-mounted yatagan, 19th century Slightly curved (somewhat pitted) back blade made of welded damask steel with a Zulfikar motif engraved on the quill side. Floral-embossed nickel-silver hilt and blade mount with damaged grip scales. Ornamentally embossed nickel-silver scabbard with a monster’s head at the pommel. Attached is a later ebony chain with a cast pendant. Length 74 cm. Condition: II - III
