A Pre-Columbian painted clay vessel, Peru, probably Nazca, 3rd–8th century Clay, colorfully painted. Round vessel with a short neck and a flat, spherical base. Painted with stylized cats on one side. The paint has been rubbed off. The upper rim has a chip. Diameter: 12 cm. Unless otherwise noted in the description, the age of the object is determined based on its characteristics, without having obtained a TL analysis. CULTURAL ARTIFACT! Provenance: From a private collection in the Rhineland, inherited from the seller’s father (estate), who acquired it in the 1960s–1980s on the German art market. Condition: II
