A high-quality replica of a Chinese bronze sword from the Warring States period A 66.5 cm-long replica of a tin-plated bronze sword from the Warring States period (5th–3rd centuries B.C.). The blade tapers forward with a central ridge, curving inward toward the tip. Narrow, 2-mm-wide bevels in front of the cutting edges. The hilt is separated from the blade by a distinctly offset crossguard that tapers to an obtuse angle at the bottom. Above it is a circular grip with two angular ribs. The pommel is a wide, funnel-shaped disc with distinct edges along the rim. The surface, which is actually fresh and pristine, features a glossy, full-surface tin plating and is partially overlaid with artificially applied green oxide deposits, which give the impression of a perfectly preserved archaeological find. A decorative and well-crafted replica housed in a Chinese casket lined with orange fabric and covered on the outside with patterned fabric. Condition: I
