Two Early Iron Age bronze pins, Zagros Mountains, early 1st millennium BC. Pins with a sturdy shaft approximately 8 mm in diameter at the top and a blunt tip. Each features incised decorations of crossed lines on the shank, arranged in several zones one below the other. Each pin has a perforation in the upper part. The pin head of the smaller pin, which is 16.5 cm long, is shaped like an animal (a dog?), while the head of the larger pin, measuring 18.8 cm in length, depicts two people wearing headdresses, one of whom is carrying the other on his back. Notably, the shanks of both objects feature oxide deposits; otherwise, these are two intact pieces with charming motifs. CULTURAL HERITAGE! Condition: II -
