In-4, red morocco leather, richly decorated ribbed spine, broad decoration consisting of interlaced fillets framing the covers, double gilt fillet on the edges, octuple gilt fillet as an inner border, gilt edges, original covers preserved, slipcase (Canape). Prospekt of 4 unnumbered folios with 1 color illustration. Limited edition of 300 copies; this one is one of 40 on China paper (2nd paper) containing 4 states (in-text in color, black-and-white insert with a note, color insert with a note, and color insert without a note) of all 26 compositions and engravings by François Courboin, printed in intaglio by Porcabeuf. A very fine copy, enhanced by a dedication from the publisher to Jules Clarétie.
