FLÉCHIER (Esprit), 1632–1710. Letter from the sender: “Esprit Ev. de Nismes,” Paris, August 20, 1695, 2 pp., in-8: He will do his best to support the parish priest of Esdon, in accordance with his correspondent’s wishes, especially since the latter serves the parish of Hautefaye (Dordogne) in a very selfless manner. He wishes to contribute to his correspondent’s projects if she needs the income he receives from the benefice of that parish and regrets that he cannot visit the magnificent buildings she has undertaken. (Flecks, small galleries of worms). Enclosed, from the same author: L.A.S. “Esprit Ev. de Nismes”; Sommiers, October 11 [1699], 1 p., small 8vo, to the Count of Calvisson, authorizing him and the Countess of Calvisson “until her deep mourning has passed” to postpone the baptism of their daughter.
