Autograph letter signed “Y. de Gaulle,” undated, September 23 [1945, according to a handwritten note in pencil], 2 pp. in-4 with envelope, addressed to Commander Revon (Jacques Revon, member of the General’s military staff): "The game you had sent to me gave us great pleasure; I must say that the General, who is usually so inattentive to the pleasures of the table, appreciated this delightful gift. He used to hunt a little in the Ardennes and in Champagne, drawn in by the enthusiasts in his family… But he is not a skilled enough marksman to hunt ‘officially.’ So it was very kind of you to make up for that! [...]”
