The central panel shows the Holy Trinity (Old Testament type) surrounded by God the Father in front of a mandorla and seven depictions of the Mother of God: Mother of God of Kazan, Mother of God ''Joy of All Who Suffer'', Mother of God of the Seven Sorrows, Mother of God of the Sign, Mother of God Vladimirskaya, Mother of God ''Unexpected Joy'' and Mother of God ''Finding the Wounded''.
