A large feast icon, Russia, circa 1900 Wooden panel with two sponki on the reverse (missing). Tempera on a chalk ground on canvas; the background is gilded and partially engraved. In the center, the Resurrection of Christ is surrounded by twelve major feasts of the Orthodox liturgical year. The border is ornamentally decorated. The paint layer is damaged along the lower edge.
