Large troika figure group, cast iron sculpture, Russia, Kasli Ironworks, dated 1900 Iron with a black patina. The underside bears a Cyrillic company stamp reading “KAS 1900” beneath the double-headed eagle, as well as “Zakharov” in Cyrillic. Cyrillic signature “E. Naps” on the base. Minor chips; the underside has a later screw fastening; the Duga bow of the middle horse is broken and lies loose; reins are missing; figures are partially wobbly. Dimensions approx. 52 x 33 x 26 cm. Weight approx. 13.5 kg. Evgeny Naps was a sculptor, restorer, draftsman, and painter. He worked in St. Petersburg, restoring porcelain, small sculptures, and bronze sculptures.
