An enameled silver St. George clasp in Renaissance style, Vienna, ca. 1880 Finely crafted silver brooch with multicolored enamel work on both sides. Central medallion featuring a relief figure of St. George on horseback battling the dragon. Delicately openwork frame with two relief heads between volutes and scrollwork. On the front, two set red gemstones, with two river pearls hanging from them. Brooch clasp on the back. The enamel has small defects in places. Dimensions 4.5 x 4 cm, weight approx. 13 g.
