A silver-gilt and enamel owl, 20th century Silver, gilded. Round base decorated with “fauna eyes”-style enamel. Base and ovoid body covered with gilded silver wire. Intricately crafted feathers made of silver wire and colorful enamel. Detachable head also features vibrant enamel, and the eyes are set with tiger’s eye cabochons. A total of eleven turquoise- and coral-colored gemstones on the head and at shoulder height. Underside of the head hallmarked “SILVER.” Enamel has minimal imperfections. Two stones are missing. Height: 14.5 cm, total weight: 361.27 g. Condition: II
