A group of four crucifixes and corpus figures Wood, carved; one corpus figure with remnants of polychrome paint; leg inlays at the ends of the cross arms. 1) Crucifix, carved from a single piece, inscribed “INRI.” Corpus in relief; above it, a bearded half-figure holding a globe above a dove; at the base of the cross, Mary as Our Lady of Sorrows; on the reverse, the Arma Christi and a sliding mechanism. Leg inlay missing at the right end of the crossbeam; sliding mechanism cannot be opened. 2) Corpus with head bowed and knotted loincloth; both arms missing. 3) Corpus with twisted loincloth; both arms missing; heavily infested with woodworm. 4) Corpus with a crown of thorns and a belted loincloth; both arms missing; the paint is preserved only in fragments; mounted on a metal rod in a modern wooden base. Height: 15–31 cm. Condition: III -
