Tortoise with finely engraved shell decoration and nuanced cold painting in brown and reddish tones; naturalistic modeling with precisely rendered shell segments. Base surface flat-ground with visible traces of working. Underside bears an amphora-shaped cartouche with the letter “B,” the characteristic workshop mark of Franz Xaver Bergmann, Vienna. Condition: partial abrasion of the paint, particularly on exposed shell edges; even age patina. Dimensions approx. 3 × 5 × 8.5 cm.
