"Orientalin," probably Vienna, first half of the 20th century Bronze, partially painted with cold pigments. Marked on the back of the hip scarf, likely an amphora above “Nam Greb”; production by the Viennese foundry of Franz Xaver Bergmann cannot be ruled out. Seated Oriental woman with a hand mirror on an openwork stool placed over a fringed carpet panel; next to her is a hexagonal openwork table serving as a lidded container, topped with a plate and a two-handled amphora; both cast pieces are screwed onto a shared stone slab. The figure is cold-painted, with wear at the highest points of the relief, particularly on the hip scarf and the edge of the rug; green corrosion deposits inside the container; the stone slab has a chip on one corner of the top surface and scratch marks. Dimensions of the figure: approx. 13 × 7 × 5 cm; container: approx. 9 × 5.5 cm; base dimensions: approx. 2 × 15 × 9.5 cm. Condition: II
