589 - Glazed ceramic. 17x15x7 cm. A fired ink stamp reading “Richard Ginori S. Cristoforo Milano” on the bottom of the vase. “74” in green ink just below. The vase’s design is the result of a fruitful collaboration between the iconic ceramics company and Gio Ponti, who served as its artistic and creative director. Limited-edition variations of this same design, illustrated by Ponti himself with classical and naturalistic motifs, are also available. (1) Color runs and scattered minor flaws. Good overall condition.
