The publication was distributed in Barcelona from February 1, 1871, to May 9, 1905. It was initially published every two weeks, but became a daily in 1881. The magazine, originally conceived as a popular literature journal, soon took on a political tone to give voice to the controversies within Catalan society. Following the emergence of the Lliga Regionalista and the growing prominence of *La Veu de Catalunya* as a party newspaper, *La Renaixensa* began to face difficulties and eventually ceased publication in 1905. (1) Letter with signs of wear and scattered decorative markings. Residues of adhesive tape on the reverse; overall in good condition.
